Why do you think that BMW driver was so brave to drive his car so fast?

I remember in December 2014, when I was in 9th grade, me, my parents and grandparents went to Chennai for winter vacation trip. We went from Bangalore to Chennai by hiring a Toyota Innova car. I remember our Innova was literally going at 120 kmph on the highway and suddenly I saw a BMW sedan overtaking our Innova full fast. I was shocked to see that. 120 kmph is already so fast so was that BMW going at 150 kmph or even more? How come the BMW driver wasn't scared driving at such speed?

120 is kinda the speed everyone drives here on dry pavement. 150 is not that fast anymore. I have taken my truck up to that speed to pass and it felt no different that when I was doing the speed limit. The engine was revving a bit higher.

Because BMWs are marketed to self-entitled people who think that speed limits are bollocks and only apply to other people.
