Society is getting ridiculous

To many people, if you ask the slightest question about anything on tv, you are a conspiracy theorist akin to a flat earther. It’s getting ridiculous, it’s an excuse to not think or read, I’ve had people refer to entire sections of history as a ‘conspiracy theory’

If people think that there are no conspiracies being engaged in out there in the world they are naive in the extreme..

But i do think the best cover for a corrupt or evil conspiracy is that many normal people don't want to know about them and try to shut whistle blowers up because they would rather live in blissful ignorance then actually know about and face some of the evil happening in this world..

@Adstar I think they are insane to the point that they are harming people. It seems fashionable for people to complain about evil capitalists being racist, getting money through evil means, patriarchy etc but as soon as you mention a billionaire doing a specific thing for a specific questionable aim ‘you are a conspiracy theorist!’

They are like a bunch of performative children, they want to be seen fighting against some evil with their fb statuses, but just some nebulous vague rubbish that doesn’t exist so there is no consequences. But they don’t want the effort of actually researching, debating nor the risk of actually opposing the powerful or challenging societal norms

@pianoplayingsteve They are the Virtue Singnallers ... They simply seek the approval and praise from other people by making statements against all the types of phobia and all the ism's.. They do not give a damn for the actual people they claim to be standing up for.. They only care about the positive feedback from like minded Virtue Singnallers and the shallow sense of moral superiority they fake over other people..

@Adstar exactly, I’ve had plenty of virtue signallers make crappy comments about my disability and mix race relationship. They always seem to be on the left
