"all idolatry is ultimately devil-worship" I agree with this statement. We don't worship books. We can respect them and learn from them, apply the knowledge of truth that we can glean from them... Our Lord God Most High, let me not be wicked, help guide me, if I have acted in error, please show me how I may correct my mistakes. May I live out my days to fulfill my highest purpose.
"Revelations 9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men."
"In Matthew 12:27, Jesus calls Satan “Beelzebub,” linking the devil to Baal-Zebub, a Philistine deity (2 Kings 1:2). The Baalim of the Old Testament were nothing more than demons masquerading as gods, and all idolatry is ultimately devil-worship (1 Corinthians 10:20)."

@Candie Thank you for the wonderful post, Sister! We will never be perfect, but we cannot continue to pridefully indulge in sin and defend sinful nature. As Maya Angelou put it, "when you know better, you do better."
