How close do you live to an interstate?

@Jonjdw We don't tend to use the word "highways" here. I guess you mean "motorways". We have a fair few of those.

Like How close does anybody live to a highway

But Then there are different levels of highways of course. But any way. Some people obviously live very far away from any major highway. And is there a good or bad about that.

@Jonjdw No we don’t have freeways but we do have Motorways and A roads 🙂

@Dlrannie OK but still same thing just called different. I guess I asked the question wrong. Forgetting of course that not everybody lives in the USA and only the USA has An Interstate.

But still whether you live near a highway or like to or not like to. Is the question

@Jonjdw The city I live in is at the junction of a Motorway and a major A road and about 2 miles from where I live 🙂

@JustNik I take it to work every day. And other places. I use I 81

@SW-User oh I live in town. But the interstate is close. And to get to work when I get off of it work is like two miles away

@TJNewton it’s a three or 4 lane Highway running across the entire United States or mostly

@Jonjdw Yes an entrance to a motorway about 5,000 miles away in the US but in the UK 10 miles away

@TJNewton well the entrance to it it’s about 3 to 4 miles. And so is the motorway itself. The entrance is called a ramp here. Some highways you don’t need a ramp to enter.
