Wrong number call

I just wanted to share the sweetest wrong number call I have ever gotten. It was from an old lady back in my home state (I still have my old number even though I haven't lived in that state in over 4 years) when I answered she asked why I wasn't working today. Confused I asked her why I would be. She then asked who I was and when I identified myself and suggest she had called the wrong number she agreed and apologized. I told it was no bother and that I hoped she had a wonderful day. She wished me a wonderful day and told me I was the sweetest wrong number she had ever called. I thanked her and told her to take care and she said the same back and we hung up. It was a quick simple conversation but it made two complete strangers smile. I truly wish her well and hope she is able to get ahold of whomever she has been trying to call. Sometimes its the simple things that can leave the biggest impressions. Especially as today I've been struggling because I am sick and tired of being sick and tired literally all the time.

I love this!!!! This is what people could do to make the world better if we just took time to BE KIND. I know during my grief sometimes little acts of kindness help immensely. I'm sorry you are struggling with illness. 💜

@ravenwind43 its issues I've had my whole life. Normally I'm like "eh I'm used to it its nothing" but every now and then I get frustrated and tired from it. But I think its one of the reasons I like to go the extra mile to make others smile.and feel good. Because I know what its like to suffer.

@Mellownai Absolutely. I know people who deal with chronic illness and I can see how worn they get sometimes. The fact that you choose to express kindness says a lot. ((hug))
