I usually don't know them. I'm not good at remembering people.

I might ask if they aren't the person I used to know back when, but I'm not going to press it if they don't want to talk about it. If someone doesn't bother to keep in touch, I stop worrying about them. Out of sight; out of mind.

It’s usually the other way around. I have terrible memory when it comes to people.

I usually don’t remember names. If I was near them and talking to them (as in a greeter job) I might say “You look familiar but I can’t remember your name” or maybe not depending on how they are acting.

No, it happened to me recently when I realised a woman behind me in the queue at the chemist was my (ex) best friend from years back who slept with my then husband behind my back

She looked like hell on earth & like she wished the ground would swallow her up, while pretending she didn’t recognise me, but I smiled sweetly straight at her face & reminded her 😌

I made the mistake of once going up to someone and saying hello .. this person walked right past me and I felt soo stupid.. I thought it was a one time deal then I did it again and They Acted like I wasn’t even there .. it hurts lol
