While i do consider myself a conspiracy theoritician, I really detest the "wake up, sheeple" sentiment. It's really overplayed and usually said by

those who are dunning kruger in the flesh. Yes, acquiescence is a problem, especially today with the pandemic, but i see something disingenious about that wake up sheeple mindset. It is the same prideful spirit that led to Lucifers state. Because the reality is that we are all sheep, we are all followers of someone or something. Some codified set of rules, a system or framework guides us all, unless you're a psychopath or shaman. There's nothing new under the sun and no one is a completely original thinker. No one figured out the deceptions on their own either, and we were all at one time in the dark like everyone else. Not to mention, those who are always calling others sheep are also sheep and followers of their favorite alternative media guru or conspiracy theorist. We Christians are sheep and Jesus Christ calls us his sheep. Being a sheep is not a bad thing as long as you are following the Good Shepherd and His true prophets. In order to be a leader, you first have to be a follower. Questioning the government is necessary, questioning the official version of stories is necessary, but I just find many in these groups to be annoying, fashionable nonconformiststs and those can be more insufferable than conformists.
