How do you like people to check up on you(via text)?

I like random out there messages that sound like we’re already in the middle of a conversation.


But you can’t go wrong with the classics either.

My friend is a health care provider. I like her in person check ups on and for me.

I dont like that. Texting is for quick information distribution. It sbould be as succint as possible. Not for long drawn out back and forth and meaningful conversation.

What did you have for breakfast?

It opens me up to talk about my day in a more specific way than "how's your day going?"

"thinking of you, how is everything"
"hey, i don't want anything, just checking up on you"
" long time, no see, what's new!"?

It’s better than ringing the phone when I’m busy, easier to text back when it’s convenient.

Something only you and the other person know— thinking if you just now— remembering our date, etc

“Just wanted to say Hey and hope you’re doing well”

Kids can text, call, vidyuh chat, drop by...
