"It is what it is," was very popular for a while.
More recently, a lot of people are sprinkling their conversation with, "So, yeh."

@BigBulge a friend of mine visited. China and their saying about their way of life is “it it’s what it is” (translated in english) a saying imprinted into them to accept their freedom deprived life.
