@Amylynne I'm not sure that's actually true. All viruses by nature mutate, since not one manufacturer has a vaccine that achieves "Sterile immunity," the virus is free to still transmit and change. The Vaccines lesson most people's responses to the spiked protein and severe illnesses, but they do not stop transmission completely, this we have breakthrough transmission happening.

But mutations are a statistic certainty.
if you enlarge the population, they can inhabit, you increase the likely hood of those mutations happening.
if there is a one in 10 thousand rate of mutation ( random number)
the it will occure once, in ten thousand hosts

enlarge THAT to say 10 million? then that likelihood swells

thus, less people infected, the lower likleyhodd of those vareints rising

THAT SAID i have seen paper on the rise of delta in ONe Single patient.
