We can now have 2 or 3 similar worlds

Its relieving to see that some people here, like me, see the social developmental dangers of blocking .

While blocking has value if one is being harassed cruely by a member ....it isn't a healthy solution on the whole.
It should never be a knee-jerk reaction.


A massive part of life is living with controversy and navigating the dance of conflict ...hopefully with a degree of grace, or a in a pinch, blunt stubborness😂

Making 'Opting out', and blinklering ones own view of coping with difference so readily available, is kinda astounding on a mass social psychological perspective .

Its equivalent to saying to children at school ....you can opt out of any amount of classes and activities, if you like.

We are creatures of habit naturally.....and this trend of "allowing one to live in their comfort zone, and forever pull it in tighter, is encouraging a bubble experience of life .

To never be confronted, conflicted, tested, pried open, or astounded ,...seems equivalent to creating a straight jacket for ones own mind.
Enabling one to rant and rave in their own padded mental cell, and never be aware of thier level of increasing crazy.

The world IS crazy, extreme, bent and brutal ....and bobbing around in a bubble is no protection.

One day ...life will pop that bubble - and what will their fragile, woke ego do then?


Most of my inner growth has come from adversity, anger, sorrow, loss and myself being pushed to reveal, or look deeper.

While it is healthy to choose to walk away from those who insult or condemn us, it is an ESSENTIAL SKILL to learn to be ABLE to do so.

it's called 'resilience'...and we never stop learning it .

I was blocked on here by a “friend” because I offered a respectful, opposing political perspective. Mind blowing. Do these folks block people in real life as well?? I feel blessed in that I can see all sides to a story and form a wise, non-biased, human opinion that doesn’t pander to one particular side.

Adulting is mind-blowing!

When I deem it necessary the block button will be utilized. So far my list has one name. People are free to type what they feel or think and it is my decision to scroll onward or reply.

My profile still shows I have a limit of 500 blocks of which I have only used 7
