Modern public schooling is completely worthless.

After 12 years of mandatory schooling people get out of it completely worthless to themselves and their society. They are unfit for any job that isn't the must basic one.

the school system needs a complete overhaul. There are career choices that don’t require a college degree and there needs to be viable alternatives offered at the high school level to steer students who don’t want a college degree towards those careers.

@Elevatorpitches need more of them an option to go to one starting about 11th grade. Two-year tech colleges are a good choice and they do have classes besides the technical ones to help them with business. My brother-in-law went to one and eventually got his own business after working for two different companies.

@Elevatorpitches yeah for some. They need some hands-on experience in the trade they are going for. Like working in the summers or weekends.

I needed more hard knocks and threats and bullying by students and teachers and shaming when I failed, less books more NAILS and HAMMERS
