the school system needs a complete overhaul. There are career choices that don’t require a college degree and there needs to be viable alternatives offered at the high school level to steer students who don’t want a college degree towards those careers.

@Elevatorpitches need more of them an option to go to one starting about 11th grade. Two-year tech colleges are a good choice and they do have classes besides the technical ones to help them with business. My brother-in-law went to one and eventually got his own business after working for two different companies.

@Elevatorpitches yeah for some. They need some hands-on experience in the trade they are going for. Like working in the summers or weekends.
