To you, what does the Confederate Flag represent?

@DoorMattress: one example would be, used by the kkk. There are many. It's a great thing to research......That flag was a battle flag in the civil war, for a northern Virginia regiment.....a war fought over states rights and the 10th amendment of the Constitution, not slavery. The majority of people in the South, never had slaves.....they had a lot of kids to do the work needed. Most could not own slaves.....only about 2 percent had them. You will soon learn how American History, has been stolen and changed. Really a shame:(

@DoorMattress: I think he might mean misappropriated over the years. by groups that have certain specific ideas and goals.

@Oster1: The 10th Amendment is a really important amendment and I'm all for protecting it, but would you say that the North fighting against the South on terms of slavery was justified?

No, not at all.....also read up on slavery in the North.......much more. Like today like what was said here, it was an over grabbing of federal power......To this day, I despise what Lincoln and Grant, did to the South and they both payed dearly for it.@DoorMattress:
