Is it true

The suggestion is . . . "Mr rump will be reinstated in August". . . asked on British media.
Could this happen, after all the furor of the election earlier, could he hold such control over a nation? The suggestion is a Mayanmar type coup could it happen in the USA?

It's now almost a year after your question; it didn't happen and I don't think it likely.

However, who made the suggestion, from what sources, to what medium, and why?

Many British journalists have tried to make sense of the USA's febrile internal politics; and some have found party-political extremists who might well have raised fears of
a possible coup.

So an American who always votes Republican is very likely to answer the question of Mr. Trump's re-instatement by saying "YES!", though presumably deny it would involve a coup.

An American loyal to the Democratic Party is very likely to have said "NO!"; to either law or overthrow.

A neutral observer would, or should, have given a much more considered reply with IF and BUT; and might have suggested or quoted from his or her sources a coup as a possibility, then considered the chance of that happening.
