Found these four larvae on a chair outside on my deck. Only the largest was still alive.

What type of insect do you think it was from?

Could be June bugs.

Look into using beneficial nematodes on your lawn. It really helps.

@zork0000 Nope. They are actually carpenter bee larvae that a parasitic bee fly found and took advantage of. Savage.
