There's a girl in your husband's bed, it makes you feel bad

you feel sick, can't focus on anything anymore, don't feel like eating or going for work. Everything seems meaningless. What would you do? Tell him to forget her, you give him another chance or give up on him?

i want to think i would be angry and vengeful but i think i would just collapse if i’m being honest. i assume his conscience would make him leave her after getting caught. i don’t think cheating is the worst thing someone can do. maybe i’d give him another chance
@ginnyfromtheblock what's worse for a relationship than someone making the decision that you're not good enough so they'll get what they want elsewhere behind your back? They've literally decided they don't care about you enough to be honest with you.

@SooperSarah abuse. active abuse is worse than lying or cheating. i don’t cheat nor do i know how someone could do it and live with it, and i can’t speak for anyone but myself, but i have devoted my life to the cause of getting people a second chance if they want it. my conscience demands i do the same to the people who wrong me, assuming they aren’t abusive
@ginnyfromtheblock isn't cheating emotional abuse?

@SooperSarah i suppose it could be if it involved gaslighting or manipulation, but not legally.

but lol every time i come back to this comment i look down and see my bf has posted literally just the word “divorce” so i guess that could be my answer too lmao.

i would never judge someone who ended a relationship over infidelity, that’s a huge violation. i just don’t think i could
@ginnyfromtheblock to me cheating isn't just an "oops." There's a lot of planning and effort put into hurting someone as long as they can without getting caught. Every time they see that other person they're choosing hurt someone that loves them. I just don't understand how that's forgivable. Clearly you're a better person than I am 🤗

@SooperSarah lol no no no. i mean i see what you’re saying for sure, it’s definitely not an accident. my story is long but suffice it to say your points are extremely valid!
