Did I miss something about this site?

I may be a bit new here- But I've been noticing people talking about 'drama' on this site. Been hearing many people leaving the site as well? What exactly happened? Maybe it's just me but it's a bit concerning since Similar Worlds is supposed to represent what experienceproject used to be- :(

Any time you have social media- you will have all these things to varying degrees. The virtual world has offered people a place to share secrets that weigh them down in everyday life, a place where they are more easily accepted for their true selves, and often a place so free of judgement- it also invites the extreme. Because the worst that can happen in almost all cases, is to be blocked or removed from the site- people tend to expose themselves freely for who they really are without fear of serious repercussion- so they stop asking even the behavior of decent society and use the virtual world as a sort of a publicly private 'greenhouse' in which to grow their inner darkness. Obviously, there are some truly worthwhile and lovely human beings here, but all social media can be just as dangerous, or more dangerous, than people you meet in person- for even though there are several limits imposed to what they can do physically to a person- the supposed of safety of the virtual is a lie. The emotional and mental damage this atmosphere can allow a vulnerable person, can be ugly, because people often all themselves to be so 'open' here- and means they are not only 'open' to relief from sharing, but 'open' to the damaging forces too. Everyone should be careful.
