Got my second E-mail from Joan Baez yesterday. It still really amazes me.

I have loved her music since I was a young teenager, each decade brought huge concerns and an on-going struggle for human rights and other related issues. Joan Baez has been an active participant in all of these ongoing battles.

It's so nice to know in the twilight of my years that someone I have so admired and loved has become so close to being a personal friend. She says "You make me laugh" one of the greatest goals I can achieve.
