Globally it will be the climate. It is happening as we speak. Fewer insects. Fewer birds. Less biodiversity. More carbondioxide. Hotter weather.
And very little is done to counter it. And a lot of people don't believe in easily perceivable changes.
Regionally it will be war and insurgency. An impending idiocracy. You are seeing that go on in the US with Qanon and other conspiracies.

@Candleholder I think the climate will be a very very good possibility. The thing I think is, if we replaced the trees we've destroyed over the last 50 years, would the climate be better off? Or is it too late to recover?

@Candleholder fewer insects? The roach, fly, ant, and mosquito populations are growing by leaps and bounds.
