ePSXe is what I use. But for PS2 emulation, it's real bad on PC. Because the emulator is trying to emulate both hardware and software, and it creates a crap ton of lag.
But smaller games on PS1 emulator shouldn't be a problem.

@twiigss what about psx?
twiigss · M
@Thexboxoneguy1991 Psx? I'm unfamiliar with it, other than the ePSXe emulator. Usually what I'll do is, look up an emulator I want to use, find one that seems most people use and I'll just use that one, like I won't try other ones because all I want to do is download and play games.

@twiigss yeah but what about bios to download?
twiigss · M
@Thexboxoneguy1991 ohhhhhhhhh yes hang on.... forgot about that lol

@Thexboxoneguy1991 I live in the states so American version is what I went with, region 1 I believe is the setting for that been a while since I used the epsxe emulator
Thexboxoneguy1991 · 31-35, MVIP
@twiigss yeah I tried psx but it didn't work so epsxe is better
twiigss · M
@Thexboxoneguy1991 Yes, epsxe is the one i use, i don't know about any other emulator.
Thexboxoneguy1991 · 31-35, MVIP
@twiigss so the bios is the same for epsxe?
twiigss · M
@Thexboxoneguy1991 Yea I think it's just like THE bios. Like all PSX consoles use the same bios. Because it's more like the bios version or something.
Thexboxoneguy1991 · 31-35, MVIP
@twiigss yeah but how do I get the bios working on my epsxe?
twiigss · M
@Thexboxoneguy1991 It goes in the bios folder
twiigss · M
@Thexboxoneguy1991 Then in the epsxe settings you have to tell the bios field to point to the bios folder.
