What does it mean if I ask a professor to clarify a few points from his lecture on a day when he's free, and he answers with "later today"?

He works at different offices throughout the town and he had a meeting scheduled for today evening. What does he mean by that??? Can't he be more specific?
I asked him the location and time, he didn't reply. It's been 2 hours and it's already the afternoon....

I imagine he's slightly scatterbrained, I'd be if I was joggling that many responsibilities at once. If I were you, I'd reach out by email, or ask another professor about his schedule.
