@canusernamebemyusername They never flipped. The Democratic party ideology today is very consistent to what it has always been. The only difference is that Democrats devised a scheme to secure the black vote. There's no flipping. You can't take what Democrats did and ascribe it to Republicans.
@TheArbitrator I can't help you if you don't meet a minimum standard of education. You have to learn the alphabet before you can read. You have to know some basic history before you can comment on what has happened.
If the parties didn't flip what was the southern strategy? Why did all but Maryland vote republican with Nixon? And why do democrates want to ban confederate monuments and the confederate flag but the Republicans say to leave "our" heritage alone when those weren't originally their heritage but the democrates instead.
