Hey, I can actually schedule a vaccine appointment
The issue is that, for whatever reason, it's 30 miles away and a 40 minute drive without traffic. There is ALWAYS traffic. Maybe I'll just wait until my job offers them.

I don't know what state you live in, but the Feds are switching gears and want states that cannot use the vaccines, to say so, so supplies can be allocated to places that need them.
If you know you can't keep the appointment, you should notify them, so they can allocate it to someone else. I lucked out, the vaccination center is 2 miles from my house. Good luck, glad you're getting vaccinated.
