@Nimbus Yes, various stores have different months when they collect at the registers for St. Jude's. I always donate, every time I buy something at partner stores in that month, including shops that I visit daily, even though I also donate directly regularly too.

@toddr13 12 people from my hometown lost their lives when the towers fell. Tunnel2Towers became one of my favorite charities. 93 cents out of every dollar goes to families of first responders who lose their lives in service

@saragoodtimes Yes, that's a great charity as well. And, may first responders from that day still have health problems or lose their lives as a result of the service that day and in the days following the attack.

@toddr13 don't ever give to the Susan Komen foundation. only 8 cents of every dollar goes to the cause and her sister takes 3/4 of a million dollars in salary
