To the people that meditate here, is it true that if you meditate too much that you can end up speaking to the dead?

I guess that would depend on your belief system... for a start off, you'll have to believe in some sort of life after death - which, not everyone who meditates does.

After that, you have to rule out the potential for lucid dreaming - which can happen from a deep enough state of relaxation.
