Do you check the person who’s giving advice before considering accepting it?

Unmarried guys giving relationship advice.

People without children telling you how to be a good parent.

People talking about foreign countries they’ve only ever read the Wikipedia page on.

People who talk about social or ethnic groups they’ve never met.

You know, the bullshit crowd.

I don't know about you, but the guy on 1st & Jackson, who carries a sign that says the end is near, seems pretty reliable, on all subjects.

I once got real estate advice from a homeless man.
The people without kids telling me how to parent is a great one

I never ask for advice blindly and certainly not online.
When I read some of the things people do say on posts that ask for advice, I feel a little scared for the people who might take it.

People seek reinforcement.

Getting advice from someone who doesn’t know any better is super convenient.

If you agree with the advice, yay.
If you don’t, it’s easy to discount.

🤣
you got this
