Is it bad that as a single mother I let my 5 year old son sleep with me?

My guy friend says it’s not a good idea that my son sleeps with me.

No. I slept with my sons up until they were in 5th grade, mainly because our house was so small at the time and we shared a room. They’re grown now and I have a one year old baby and I’ve been sleeping with him since he was born. You’re his mother, you decide
