Ten years ago, if I was to ask you what you thought life would be like in 2021, what would you have said?

I would've imagined virtual reality, TV would be like 3D like you're actually on set, and interviews wouldn't be done over choppy Skype calls like they are now.

I’m shocked to say that technological advancement does not equate to increased quality of life and happiness.

Happiness comes from within. This is what I learnt in 2021

@mysteryespresso Wow did you previously think that more tech equalled to greater quality of life?
@REMsleep couldn't blame myself all the advertisements on tv, in news papers, seemed to sell happiness in exchange for money.

It's when you experience things, waste a lot of money on useless things and your home is full of stuff you're never gonna use in your lifetime and you're still sad and the same you realise that you became victim of marketing tactics. You're old a d never really enjoyed living for the day, living in the moment. Half the life is gone and there's nothing but regrets.

Beyond that point some people take religion, spirituality more seriously, it gives them peace and happiness, some look for hobbies, some of them feel love and friends give peace and make life meaningful and 'smart' people make others victims to keep the vicious cycle going and make themselves feel better.

In the end of the day the smartest guy is the richest and all people respect his money, he can influence government policy, he CAN BE GOOD OR BAD, no one to judge or do him anything it's like a god and everyone else lesser human beings . We all go to college and work for him

New people keep becoming the victims of formal education, they get jobs they don't like to buy things they don't need and the same cycle continues for eternity
