For those of you who work in retail, I feel - if your employer calls you in on your day off, your compensation should be double.

You're saving their ass because they need someone to work for them or their establishment would cease to exist. You're putting your whole life on standby and they're getting rich while you're struggling to pay your bills. That's not right.
