Women, do you still believe in the Princess Fallacy?

I remember as a kid, I was always a "princess". Could do no wrong, got whatever I wanted, a slap on the wrist at worst if I did something punishable, you name it. It took way to long to realize that this is not how the real world works. Like learning Santa isn't real, but for adults. I'm not a princess. I'm a human, I am responsible for my own actions, my own faults, and my own mistakes. I don't listen to those that try to keep up the illusion that I am priceless and perfect.

It's a little sad, but also freeing.

Good parents would have taught you that a lot younger

@justbob If anything, I think modern parents are buying into it well into their daughter's 20's, if not 30's.

@pattycakechamp I am not a modern parent.
