I’m moving into a posh neighbourhood.

And feel like we will be the riff raff of the area. I mean these people are [b]rich[/b] We do ok, but we are by no means rich. I feel a little intimidated by my neighbours and we haven’t even finished building our house....

Nope - they are the riff raff - either inherited or stolen, rarely honestly earned...unfortunately I have experience in this...

@fun4us2b most of them are family business owners yes. Elite home builders, paving companies, and the like. One kid is like 20-30s and lives in (what I consider) a mansion. Here our home is 2500 sq ft which is huge for me but is practically an outhouse among these people.

@DoubleRings That sounds like a self made crowd, which is good - I hope you have a good experience - people are people, good and bad...my neighbors on both sides fell into their money...meatheads both of them...but there's a few around here that I get along with, so it works out...good luck with the new house!

@DoubleRings Well, going back to your original question, then you shouldn't feel intimidated, since you know 100% that they are fake, and you earned your way there...Ugh, try to enjoy your new home and make a friend or two...
