Quick Question.....

Planning on going on my 1st Camping holiday soon, thanks to my good lady, so...at my humble old age....I am asking.....

Anything I need to know? What do I need to take?

Obviously, my girl is the 'expert' - she camped when she was younger - but I just want to get clued up on what I need to know...or expect!

How deep in the woods are you going? Will you be near bathrooms?

@NotJamieM Not sure! It's a 'surprise'! There will be amenities, so I am led to believe. We'll be in a family tent with our 6 year old....it'll be near(ish) so we can visit her parents....

@SammyJo the place I usually went to had this walk of trees and it looked like you were in the middle of nowhere, but on the other side was a building with showers and totes. Unisex, but at least not the shovel (which I did do once, lol).

@SammyJo one thing you may consider are those inflatable camping mattresses. There always seems to be a rock under me, lol.

@SammyJo I surged and got one at LL Bean years ago. It rolls up really small. Still have it.
