I have seen so much hate crimes in the news but is it true ? Or just media propaganda?

To toss it out there you may want to look up the word "propaganda." It might help you use it more appropriately in the future. Sensationalism and propaganda are two very different things. But yeah. I think a lot of people feel they now have a license to hate.

It is an outcome of a political cause is it? Or is it still wrong to say propaganda?

@Room66: Propaganda is a purposeful attempt, typically by a government, to influence. There are varying degrees though. Some may say FOX is a propaganda arm of the GOP. Given my work I'll say that it's almost always sensationalism that drives certain news decisions. It just feel like propaganda because they're creating a narrative.
