I have heard from a number of my black co-workers (all professional folks) how they have been approached and either a racial slur or comment about "being sent back" was provided.

To toss it out there you may want to look up the word "propaganda." It might help you use it more appropriately in the future. Sensationalism and propaganda are two very different things. But yeah. I think a lot of people feel they now have a license to hate.

Almost certainly, although police confirmations for the little things are hard to get and it's been a pretty chatoci couple of days. The same thing happened under Brexit. The racists were already there, and many of them now believe they've 'won' and can start chasing out the brown people.
