Is a 2018 smartphone old or new?

I have a 6 and my mom and sister tease me about it. But when I upgraded to an 8 I was very disappointed to see it was basically the exact same thing so why bother?

Apple upgraded their CPU and OS with each iteration of iPhone.

Apple, and that maybe so but my personal experience it isn’t any different or better or More special. I use my phone to text and call and use various apps. This phone does that and I am content @justanothername

@DeluxedEdition it’s hard to build great apps for Android. The OS is made of spaghetti software which is very hard to test on.
