Well, what kinds of things do you enjoy? Do you like puzzles, stories, action, adventure, etc? Do you like managing things, or being creative? There are a lot of types of games out there, and just recommending one game to represent all video games would be doing a disservice.

@FaeLuna Stories & adventure & creative!! Suggestions? :)

@Casheyane Well, Minecraft is a good start for a creative sandbox with low-resolution blocks, if that kind of thing appeals to you. It's massively popular for a reason, after all, but it doesn't give much in the way of a goal or a story. If you want something more robust with a little more structure, Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo give you lots of construction tools to play around with and get creative in the context of building an amusement park/zoo.

For something simple with just a story, there's an indie game I like called Unrest (https://store.steampowered.com/app/292400/Unrest/) where you control a couple of ordinary people in a fantasy version of ancient India, and make decisions for them. It's short, but easy to play, and well written.

If you want to try a city builder set in the frozen steampunk apocalypse, I'd recommend Frostpunk (https://store.steampowered.com/agecheck/app/323190/). You get to design a city in different scenarios, each with a compelling survival drama story.

Witcher 3 is a fantastic medieval adventure game with a good story. (Also a book series and Netflix show, so there's plenty more material to enjoy if you like the concept.) You also don't need to play the first two to get into it, so that's a plus!

I could go on for a while with recommendations, but I realized all of those are for PC. Some of them can be found on other consoles (I don't know if you have any), but if you have a decent computer, you can play pretty much all of these.

@FaeLuna What's your ultimate fav that you can play in PC?

@Casheyane That is such a tough question to answer... I guess it really depends on the mood I'm in. Like, I tend to go through cycles of which games I'm really into. If we just go off of total hours played, probably something like Skyrim. If we go by games I always have installed to play at a moments notice, Heroes of Might and Magic III. Or Warcraft 3. I do love that game.
