"More than 50% of US investors think the stock market is rigged against individuals, a new survey finds." What do you think?

Poll - Total Votes: 11
Yes, it's rigged, just like the 2020 election.
It is rigged, but I disagree with the part about the 2020 election.
No, it is not rigged, but the election was rigged.
No, neither the stock market nor the election is rigged.

Everything in this country is rigged against the individual.

Individuals are taxed the most, independent contractors face miles of red tape that makes it harder for them to compete with larger firms, laws are being passed to make off the grid living illegal, etc.

Land of the free my ass. The government is becoming the monster that the anti-federalists predicted it would.

First "rigged" is a heavy term. It is "influenced" by those with monetary power. (the rich and money people, like hedge fund managers) And if 50% of investors believe this WHY ARE THEY PLAYING IN A GAME RIGGED AGAINST THEM??😷

@whowasthatmaskedman classic class warfare . How do you seize asserts from the rich unless the poor hate them and think they got their gains illegally?

@AthrillatheHunt Its not illegal. Its just using the power of capital to drive prices up and down. Look at the screams of pain from the hedge funds when the Robin hood gamer company got pumped up contrary to the hedge fund trying to short it a month or two ago.
My contention is that IF all the amatuers and day traders had the sense to get out of the Market the hedge funds would have to stiff each other.. They are gambling. Not investing. Thats why they call it "Hedging a bet."😷
Rigged along with the election

@swirlie Sorry.. But Buffett doesnt Trade. He takes a position in a business that he feels is a bargain at its current price and has the stated aim of hanging on for the long term. Maybe the idea that he thinks a share is a good buy attracted other investors. But that is the extent of his influence.😷
