I fear it is not confined to one country. The cure is inside people and it depends on your view of the innate nature of humans as to how much hope you have.
@Frank52 Thanks for the BC award. 😀 I think hope is essential for a healthy mind, but naivety is best avoided by a realistic assessment of the world around you. As Dark Heaven has written...'light and love'.

@Frank52 I agree I've just been frustrated that so few even care about the defenceless people being either killed or beaten up. Specifically American Asians. They deny it's happening or blame the media for lying when camera's all over are recording the beating by domestic terrorist.
@Grateful4you I believe in the concept of 'righteous anger'. It's not the same as the right to be angry, which I'm certain you understand. There are some things against which we need to make a stand, but the form of the anger isn't ill-temper and pouring fuel on the fire. Hatred is an entirely different thing.
@Grateful4you I have. Most recently I watched a TV show called First Day. It made me cry multiple times, but it was good memories. I suggest you watch it to learn about transgender issues, if you have not. It was truly beautiful. 🖤
@JustGoneNow My routine is to do my gratitude check daily, sometimes very long other days short. I try to stay in the moment and appreciate each encounter, my time with the cat's the beauty all around me. I make it a point to make eye contact and have a pleasant exchange if possible.
@JustGoneNow I only have subscription channels, if it's one of them I can. Sounds like something my partner Kevin would watch (I just get tired of his editorials throughout)

Something I tend to forget but I'm low on the totem pole of my enlightenment and evolvement. I'm a slow learner and a tad dull normal.
I am sure you underestimate yourself, but the clothes of humility are becoming to all who want to learn and grow. The older I get (you will get this) the more I realise there is to know. If we have nothing to learn, the 'teacher' is wasting their time. There is an arrogance in some forms of hate which believes that one view of the world is supreme.
I had my first vaccine a few weeks ago. I hope yours goes well.
