@Coraline Thanks for the lecture. I was nearly kicked out of school for staging a walk out for a social justice issue that the school wasn’t taking seriously. I have literally been fighting this fight for my entire life. I think I get it. I’m just not political. Sure, I have social justice issues that end up political but please don’t box me into hating anyone. There’s enough of that already. No more darkness and hate. Only light and love.

I’m the girl that grew up gay in a traditional MidWest town, a first generation American and child of immigrants, who speaks with an odd Icelandic accent, currently dating a black girl, and have literally been spit on and cursed at because of who I choose to love. Why do you want to alienate those you might find common purpose with? The reason I abhor politics is that it only divides, never unites. I don’t judge your path to justice but I’ll kindly ask you to back the fuck up off mine and save your holier than though speech for someone that actually needs it. I think I’m done with SW, today. I’m just tired of this all.
@JustGoneNow My "normal" self is fairly passive. I mostly seek to make others happy. This is a side folks seldom see and I'm grateful for that. I have a passion for those unable to defend themselves or speak out. It's my conviction that all life is sacred and I have a need to help the defenseless.
