Why do things not make sense?

A shipping company that passed the package off to USPS has more accurate tracking than USPS... somehow. My job wants me to take a survey to return to work, but won't send the survey. Taking off for quarantine was like pulling teeth as four different people said four different things (you'd think that an entire year would make the process easier for them). Walgreens has products on sale, but those products aren't in their system.

Simple rant is over. Go back to your ordinary lives.

UPS sent an e-mail over a month ago saying i could have them alert me to when the package was delivered and had options for how. I checked e-mail and phone alert. I was at home for the day and heard when the truck stopped and then heard the box being put on the concrete in front of my door. The driver didn’t even ding the doorbell before he walked off and I got the package. No delivery alert on my phone and it was hours later before I got the email message saying the package was delivered. A lot of good that would do to keep a thief from getting it.
