For me, being alive is that feeling of being comfortable with the things around you.

Being truly alive you step up to things that make you uncomfortable and take that next step forward. Be it a new place, different views or thoughts and tough problems.

We are learning creatures, being challenged intellectually, emotionally and physically seems to be innate and necessary.
but what about being an old dog learning new tricks?? lol!

I may be old and untrainable to be the "indoor dog" and around guests, but it doesn't stop me from trying.

Sometimes it comes with a swat across the nose with the newspaper other times it is "go away, bad dog".

But, I try.😊
@polysexminoh: I agree with what you said above. :)
but what breed of dog do you consider yourself?

Mutt!

The kind of dog that is average non-descriptive and completes the scene.
