Well, you could work on an offshore oil rig -- dangerous and only semi-outdoorsy, but it pays alright. You could be a farmhand, which is a bit rough, but feels alright once you really get into it. I don't think you need college education to be a conservationist either. Lifeguarding can be pleasant and if you do it at the beach, it pays very well. Potentially high-pressure though.
