@MarieUK They have to find one before they can do that. There are legends dating back to the 1800s with the Choctaw Indian tribe that lives there. It’s in Choctaw territory in southeastern Oklahoma where they are still finding signs of them. Large tree branches too big for humans to break over but when they find them broken over in an area that looks like a hiding place shelter they believe that there have been Bigfoot in the area.

@MarieUK there are many reports in states like Washington and Oregon where there are big forested areas. There have been two reports in my county in the past 15 years and one was a half-mile away from a village where I used to live near a wooded river area. It was a state employee who wished to remain anonymous on the reporting site and likely to have been a State game ranger because there are deer in the area and reports of illegal hunting in the area are common. They say water sources and wild deer and wooded areas are places where Bigfoot tend to live. They will kill & eat deer and wild hogs.

@MarieUK We just want to see if the reports are true. And also they aren’t so innocent themselves if you read the story of the Human-Bigfoot War that happened in the 1800s with the Choctaw Indians. A lot of their children were coming up missing and they sent a search party out to see if they could find them. What they found was a bone pile with bits of human remains where the children had been eaten. That’s when the war began and it’s been retold by the Choctaw till now.

@cherokeepatti these stories go back centuries though and things are added taken away,
could they possibly originate from early Humans and Neanderthal's, lots of stories in Europe of them fighting but not really any proof, but and recent theory is they also had mixed relationships, I am not a scientist/Historian
