Are people that upset over 6 of Dr. Seuss' books being removed from shelves for controversial imagery?

Because I don't see the issue. It's not like ALL of his books have been removed. Other than that, somebody's gonna make a fortune reselling those 6 books. 馃槀

I don't know the exact nature of the objections to those books, but from a google image search, I'm getting that this is being cited as one of the problems --

which tbh seems kind of strange because the utensils, foot, and hat he has there are just genuine depictions of Chinese culture. IDK if he's chasing a dog there out-of-frame (which honestly would make this whole situation make more sense), but even if that's the case, eating dogs is also an established part of Chinese culture. 馃拝
So if he depicted the boy as white, it would be white supremacy. If he depicted the boy as black it would be racist. I can also assume according to cancel culture depicting the boy as male is sexist or some kind of sex supremacy. One thing I can be happy about at least is that most cancel culture people also believe in abortion. @BlueVeins

@stratosranger ehhh that's a stretch, the image we're looking at right now is kinda borderline even with all that cultural awareness in mind
Point is once the door is opened to this type of mindless bullshit, it never ends.@BlueVeins
