Winter into Spring

I am a big fan of winter.
However, there's something about that transition from winter to spring, that brings me happy feelings and thoughts.

Especially after mother nature has brought single digit temperatures for a couple of weeks.

It makes 40f temperatures feel like spring.
The sun a welcomed warm.
There's also this particular smell in the air as the sun shines and the snow melts.
Wet earth, wet cement... [i]stuff[/i] thawing.


I love days like this.
