Have you ever struggled with an addiction?

I can't drink alcohol or else I'll become addicted.

Cigarettes for about 14 years
Cocaine is the reason I can't ever be independently wealthy - I would die of an overdose if I had unlimited access.
I'm kind of addicted to weed

@SW-User no but it would have easily gone that way if I had the money to keep up such a habit. IDK how junkies do it.

As it is I abuse the fuck out of caffeine. It's probably the strongest addiction.

@SW-User oh I spent a few months using it several times a week and then I was like... nah. This could turn me into a monster.

My mom was a drug addict and I know when I like something too much when I remind myself of her. I'll do it with things that aren't even drugs. Reading trash novels, playing the Sims (building death cults) or world of Warcraft, exercise... I can pervert most wholesome activities into something unhealthy.
