Why when people leave this site they want everyone on the site to know and see?

Some posters have people here who [b]do[/b] care about them and would like to know they’re going. I’m not annoyed at those who [b]are[/b] simply saying farewell. It’s the ones who leave whilst cursing the site and everyone here, who are actually overestimating their importance in our lives. 🤨

It's attention-seeking. We all do it. The same reason selfie threads are so popular. 🤷‍♂️

they need a show of affection

They want to make sure everyone knows their grievances or they want people to plead for them to stay. If they truly just wanted to be rid of the site, they'd leave quietly or they'd say goodbye to specific users. But when they're bitter about it it's clear they'd rather stay but can't find a reason to at the moment.

It's not that way. They mean to have a contact of their friend/ liked person to be in touch. 🙂

Maybe some are just going on a hiatus and people just over-analyze everything.

I shalt haveth my trumpet march out whether it’s a 12 hour or a 4 week hiatus 😡

They don't feel heard and are making one last effort. I don't condemn them for it.

That's what I did when I took a long break. I just left.

I want to say goodbye and wish them all the best

So that we can have a funeral for them.😂
