Can we not just respect each others beliefs?

I put this as a comment reply to someone and can't help but see how relevant this is to all right now. He still has us in his hands and will throughout the next four years. God is the one and only the Alpha and Omega . Regardless of who is president he is still king, and does have everything under control. Now explain this to me ... What good does being belligerent, mouthy and down playing someone's religion do for this country? Absolutely nothing. Try it all you want but it won't get you far. I fully take responsibility for my choices and everyone else who supported Trump in this election, and am proud to say I stand by him rather than a criminal that kills full term pregnancies. ( before I get bashed for this let me say this. If you have a health reason to not have a baby, like for example.... It bearing a child would kill you that's one thing. If it's just because you do t wanna be a mom, that is called lazy sorry not sorry) Be as mouthy as you would like, but I will tell you now, regardless of the fact that you have free speech it doesn't mean that people have to act on it. If you say you stand with the country then attempting to shut God out of our "one nation under God" then you have clearly missed the mark.
If your Christians then believe what you believe, same for Muslims, athiests, Catholics, Buddhists. Just respect beliefs don't take away what we each hold as dear to us. Why can we not just coexist?

Also, REAL HUMANITY is having the baby you amy not want and giving it to a couple who wants but cant bear Children. Abortion is Inhumane. OR you TRY and be a Mother.

@Kimmerrose: and you should RIGHTFULLY have that option!

I want a child to call my own and if it can't be from my body why not adopt.

"you have clearly missed the mark. " Don't call for respect and then put your deity on everything. It's rude.

the pledge had god added later, it wasn't in the original written by bellamy.

It's still said across the country. If you don't believe it don't say that line like in schools. who are you to tell a child they cannot say the pledge because it might offend someone. They are simply saying it for their country, out of pride. Or saying a child can't carry a bible because it might offend someone. If you don't like it don't do it but don't tell others what they can and cannot do.

Freedom of speech and conscience means you don't have to talk loyalty pledges. In fact, there's not much that's less free than forced oaths.

You're aware that quakers and other peaceable christians don't take oaths to a country so they can put their god first? That's principle.

Too much variety does no good
Kimmerrose · 31-35, F
Variety teaches not harms. You can have multiple different types of people as long as they are smart enough to "play nice"
