I knew we still had a long way to go with racism in America. But I feel like Trump made it ok to be openly racist. Maybe that’s a good thing, because now we have a more realistic view of the problem.
@KristinaM The atmosphere encourages acting out bigotry where good ole boys were patting each other on the back for being open about it. You do have a strong point about it being open to see like letting a wound get air and not cover it up for healing.
@KristinaM Agreed, question is how to deal with it? That deep, dark, smelly underbelly of America isn't going away anytime soon, they are just louder and more vocal now...
