Has anyone ever tried to "kill" u before ? 🧐 🔪

Did they use a knife ? How about a gun. A shovel. Or a baseball bat, or stick. Or perhaps they tried to kill you with their bare hands. ✋ Has anyone ever tried to kill you before. Tell us your story please. Comments. 🤨

@cherokeepatti Yikes!! How traumatic for you.

@Zonuss It was my mother about a week after my father gave her LSD making her think it was medication. She had a sudden breakdown. He didn’t call the hospital and have her hospitalized until after this happened. We were in the kitchen and she was paranoid saying she wouldn’t go to the hospital again (no one was talking about it, just watching her) and she picked up a butcher knife and went after me and my sister, the closest exit was the basement and we ran downstairs and got cornered very quickly, she came within a couple of inches of getting me. My father grabbed the knife out of her hand as she had it raised to me. After me and my sister stopped crying he told us to go upstairs and that he was taking us to the Dairy Queen for ice cream. Left my mom at home and we talked at the drive-in that he would have to call to have her hospitalized. He called the police, and the hospital & we went back home and he told us to stay out of the house. It about broke my heart when the police came & handcuffed her to take her to the hospital.

@cherokeepatti why would he gave her LSD without her permission ?
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@SW-User He was a sadistic psychopath. And he would forge her name on a check and steal her money when she was hospitalized. The V.A. Would deposit her disability checks into her savings account for the duration of her hospitalizations. Now ask me how he got his hands on the LSD to begin with.

@cherokeepatti oh dear, such a horrible ordeal for you and your sister. It seems that you’ve stayed strong as an adult. Glad you’re w/ us here on SW

@CantExplain I could write a book about just the few times we had to live with him.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@cherokeepatti Your mom. Oh wow.🙁
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@Zonuss I loved her so much and knew it was because she had a breakdown, the breakdown was bad enough but seeing her arrested by the police made me break down. My older sister had a very mild case of chicken pox, which I had already had when I was about 3 years old. I got the chicken pox again and was covered from head to toe in it, the stress depressed my immune system.

@cherokeepatti well, the final chapter of your book is that you are here and strong
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@CantExplain yes I am. He murdered her a year later, a few months after she got out of the hospital. I think about how many years older I am now and how she was only 46 when she died. 19 years older than her age when she died.
CantExplain · 70-79, M
@cherokeepatti we’re all fortunate to have reached our ages...
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@CantExplain yes we are, there’s so much that could go wrong even in a healthy home with loving people surrounding us. Can’t take our lives for granted that way.
